Volimes is one of the largest villages which is situated on the north west it comprises of three unique villages, even though this a quieter part of the island it is getting more and more popular in the summer months with tourists as it is very well known for the traditional lace and their embroidery talents, local wine and honey and other handmade local products which they sell in the narrow streets of the village.

Volimes indeed has a lot to offer apart from being quiet and tranquil it has all the amenities one would wish to have, local coffee shops , post office, local store for general shopping and local school. The beautiful views over the mountains are spectacular and just outside of the village as you drive around the mountain side there are indeed some amazing houses which have been constructed using traditional stone.

The views cannot be beaten whether it is mountain or in some areas panoramic sea views.
